We are continually told this is a project on which they are working and that HLC will be one of the first they work with when ready. What are my options?
1. Speak Up
The first thing we recommend is that you reach out to your contact(s) at Ascend and let them know that you would like an integration with HLC. Ultimately, you are the paying customer and you are the one with the power.
2. Get creative
HLC has several options for making ordering as easy as possible for Ascend customers. We can provide you with an Excel catalog file to upload into your Ascend software. We also have a fast order solution that allows you to copy and paste part numbers and quantities from an exported PO to create an order with the click of a button.

Does HLC share catalog data with Ascend?
Yes. We send catalog updates to Ascend every other Friday.
What integrations are possible between Ascend and HLC?
We are only limited by our imagination. Right out of the gate, HLC has the capability to automate catalog data, including, but not limited to, descriptions, images, attributes, pricing, and inventory. We can automate the reception of purchased orders and creation of orders in our system. We can also automate dropshipping, invoices, and even tracking details for shipments in transit. There is so much efficiency that we can create for Ascend customers once Ascend is ready to work together.
Another distributor is integrated — why not HLC?
We are aware of other integrations with Ascend. These were grandfathered into the current system. To our knowledge, no new suppliers have since been integrated into Ascend.
